Ellen Starr Ellen Starr is a renaissance woman. If it is related to an arts or craft technique, she has probably tried it - everything from metal smithing, painting, stained glass, bookbinding, leather tooling, wood working, costuming, fiber arts, to medieval illumination and cobbling shoes - just to name a few.

Ellen was diagnosed in 2008 with aggressive breast cancer. The last few years have been an amazing journey of transformation for her, both personally and artistically. Her current focus with her art is to express the wisdom, healing and gratitude that have come from the blessing of her awakening due to cancer, releasing old limiting perceptions and the birth of a new life view. Her new pieces are about thresholds, doorways to discovery and healing.

Her passion is to create works of art that inspire others with a sense of awe and reverence. She strives to reflect in her works beauty, spiritual symbolism and enlightenment.
